Director, Outpatient Clinic

Research Interests

Dr. Dauser is the Director of the Outpatient Psychiatric Clinic for Children at the Yale Child Study Center. The Outpatient Psychiatric Clinic for Children provides a comprehensive range of diagnostic services for children and adolescents with psychiatric and developmental disorders and their families. These services include: specialized evaluations for youth from birth to 18 years; evidence-based treatments for anxiety, depression and disruptive behaviors; psychopharmacological evaluation and management; psychodynamic psychotherapy; group parenting skills training; individual school consultation; and case management services and coordination. Within the clinic, Dr. Dauser has oversight responsibilities for the Psychiatry, Psychology and Social Work Fellows and provides direct supervision.

Dr. Dauser's interests include program development, implementation of evidence-based treatments, clinical training, child development, supervision and development of professional competence. Her clinical work involves treating adolescents with high risk self harming behaviors, children and families who suffer from depression and anxiety and disruptive behavior disorders.
