and support programs and child care. She coordinates the
development of Parents First.

Gilliam, Ph.D. is a psychologist
on the faculty of the Yale Child Study Center. His work
focuses on evaluating and improving early childhood education
quality at the local, state, and national levels.
Arietta
Slade, Ph.D. is a clinical psychologist on the
faculty of the Yale Child Study Center. Her work focuses
on attachment and parent-infant mental health.
Linda
Mayes, M.D. is a pediatrician and Coordinator of
Early Childhood programs at the Child Study Center. She
and Donald Cohen, M.D. authored The Yale Child Study
Center Guide to Understanding Your Child: Healthy Development
from Birth to Adolescence, Little Brown, 2002.
