For
Mental Health Professionals: The Early Child Development
Externship Programs of the Yale Child Study Center offer
strong, multi-faceted training in working with young children
and their families. The Externships are appropriate training
experiences for licensed, insured professionals in the community

the evaluation and treatment of young children and their
families. Psychologists, social workers, pediatricians,
child psychiatrists, APRNs, speech and language pathologists,

latency age children and their families are appropriate

of early childhood development, all practitioners will receive
appropriate supervision by licensed clinical faculty.
