Project Oceanology, Avery Point, Groton 800-364-8472 Oceanographic cruises on the 55-foot research vessel EnviroLab, providing a hands-on introduction to oceanography and marine life. They also offer Ledge Lighthouse tours, and Seal watch cruises.

You should bring sunscreen and wear sneakers. Pack a lunch and picnic on the campus before or after a cruise.
