Faculty of the Physiology Graduate Program

The research in our graduate program covers a wide range of topics and methodologies. A unifying goal is to understand how the individual components of biological systems function and interact with each other to generate complex processes within living organisms. We ask questions at the level of how molecules, cells, and systems function. The high degree of interaction between our laboratories enables us to learn much from each other.

The specific research interests of each of the faculty in our graduate program are described in the following pages. In this section we highlight the core faculty in order to provide a clear view of some of our central themes. Students are free to undertake rotation and thesis projects with the faculty listed here or with any of the faculty of the BBS.
