The Office of Education provides administrative and educational support
for the development and implementation of the educational program.
The
staff assists various committees, i.e. Educational Policy and Curriculum
Committee (EPCC), Curriculum subcommittee (CSC), Clinical and Preclinical
Assessment Subcommittees (CAS, PAS, respectively) in the continuous
review and revision of the curriculum and the educational policies that
guide the program.
The schedules for all four years are developed and
published by the Office of Education in conjunction with each course,
module and clerkship director. Several courses are coordinated by
the Office of Education, i.e., Molecules to Systems Integrated Curriculum,
Professional Responsibility, Preclinical Clerkship and Clinical Skills
Program, all second year modules, as well as the Primary Care Clerkship
and the Integrative Clinical Medicine Course.
The office also provides
the administrative support to the Society of Clinical Preceptors and
the Society of Distinguished Teachers, and publishes the Yale mED,
