Loan Status

After you have applied for Federal Stafford or Graduate Plus Loans, you may wish to check the status, interest accrued, total amount due or the holder of your loan. You can do this by checking the National Student Loan Database website.

After you have applied for Private Lender Loans, you may wish to check the status, interest accrued or the total amount due. You can do this by checking the lender’s web page to review your account. This may also provide information on your Stafford and/or Graduate Plus Loans.

Loans processed through Yale University include the Perkins Loans, Loans for Disadvantaged Students and Yale School of Medicine Loans. After you have completed the promissory notes for these loans, you can get information on their status through the Financial Aid Office.
