Building Biostatistical Capacity in Japan

Biostatistics

Building Biostatistical Capacity in Japan

Faculty from the Biostatistics (BIS) division have partnered with Fukuoka University to develop the first Biostatistics postgraduate training program funded by the Japanese government. BIS faculty provide guidance in curriculum development and travel to Japan for week-long specialized training sessions. More than 40 researchers have graduated from the program in the past six years.
