Food and Drug Regulatory Training

Faculty from the Biostatistics division are collaborating with the China State Food and Drug Administration (sFDA) to develop training on food and drug regulatory issues. A Chinese delegation, including directors and associate directors of provincial and national sFDA offices, attended an eight-day course at YSPH in April 2008. Participants shared experiences with U.S. Food and Drug Administration officials, as well as academics and industry leaders. It is anticipated that the training program will be held again to provide guidance in the creation and implementation of future sFDA initiatives.
