Yale School of Public Health We seek a scholar of national/international prominence for a senior faculty position to direct Yale School of Public Health’s new Office of Community Health. The successful candidate will be expected to develop and implement a strategic plan for public health practice education, to enhance existing and develop new public health practice courses, and to help strengthen and expand Continuing Education activities for public health professionals. In addition, s/he will be expected to maintain an independent, extramurally-funded public health practice research program. The candidate should have proven experience working with diverse communities and community-based agencies. The Office of Community Health will lead public health practice research, education, and service activities by fostering ongoing partnerships with local, state, national, and international external public health agencies and non-governmental organizations. The Office will supervise student public health practice experiences, including oversight and quality assurance for these experiences. Salary and rank will commensurate with experience.
