Parasitology and Vector Biology Training Program
Postdoctoral Fellow Position

A NIH-funded post-doctoral position is available in the Parasitology and Vector Biology Training Program at Yale University. This is multidisciplinary program focused on various aspects of host/vector/pathogen interactions, including epidemiology and genetics of vector-borne diseases, gene regulation, RNA interference and vaccine development . Preference will be given to candidates who have obtained their Ph.D. within the last three years, have a track record of productivity and are fluent in spoken and written English. Send curriculum vitae, a brief synopsis of research accomplishments and future research plans, and the names of three referees to Professor Elisabetta Ullu at elisabetta.ullu@yale.edu. Applicants should also indicate in their cover letter the faculty member with whom they would work.

The deadline for application is December 7, 2007.   The starting date is negotiable, but should be before August 1, 2008.
