Thesis
Deadlines |
 |
| The Thesis
Committee in conjunction with the Dean's Office has established
the following deadlines for theses submitted in partial
fulfillment of the requirements for graduation in May
2007. These deadlines add additional time for students
to complete their final drafts, and for departmental review.
The deadlines ensure that (1) students have all possible
available time to complete their theses; (2) that there
is sufficient time for departmental review and subsequent
revision by students before final approval. These deadlines
are rigidly adhered to without exception to maintain the
integrity of the thesis requirement. |

Memo & Form for Thesis Plan

  |
*To
complete the application form electronically,
download the PDF file on the left and open
it using either Adobe
Acrobat writer 4.x or 5.x or Adobe
Acrobat Reader 4.x or 5.x. Further instructions
are available within the document itself.
Alternatively,
download and print the application document
using Acrobat Reader for PDF files or Microsoft
Word for DOC files (Windows only). Fill
out the printed application using a type-writer,
word processor, or by printing neatly. |
|
Students are strongly encouraged
to submit their theses before the above deadlines since
this provides both students and the sponsoring departments
more time for useful review and revision. It should be
recognized by all concerned that the integrity of the
thesis requirement requires adherence to the above deadlines.
If extensions are granted, the deadlines cited above will
be adhered to rigidly without exception and students missing
either of these deadlines will not graduate in May
2007.
It is essential that we
receive the planned title of your thesis and your advisor's
name, title, department and internal mailing address.
Please complete the form in the memo above and return
it to the Office of Student Research, ESH 310 by August
25, 2006. |
