Fluorescence Microscope

The Department has recently purchased a Zeiss Axiophot 2 photomicroscope particularly suited for immunofluorescence microscopy. The microscope is set up for two color immunofluorescence with both single and dual pass filters, as well as phase contrast and differential interference contrast imaging. It provides excellent resolution over a broad range of magnifications. The photomodule allows labeling of individual film frames and storage of information for each photograph.
