Each student admitted to the Yale BBS Program is assured of financial support for four years of study. Graduate students are supported by a variety of means including predoctoral training fellowships provided by the National Institutes of Health, fellowships offered by the National Science Foundation, and other private and Yale sponsored fellowships offered locally. These grants pay tuition, stipend and health insurance to meet both academic and living expenses. Because most support derives from United States government funds that can be used only for U.S. citizens and permanent residents, foreign applicants are urged to apply for scholarships or funding from their own governments. A small number of Yale fellowships are available for outstanding foreign students.
