Research Activities

Dr. Bravata’s primary research interest is the clinical epidemiology of cerebrovascular disease. She has investigated the prognosis, quality of care, and treatment of patients with stroke. Dr. Bravata is the recipient of a Veterans Administration Health Services Research & Development Advanced Career Development Award and the Robert Wood Johnson Generalist Physician Faculty Scholars Program Award.

Clinical Activities

Dr. Bravata cares for veterans at the West Haven VA Medical Center as a general internist working in the Primary Care Clinic. She also serves as Director and Internal Medicine Attending for the Multidisciplinary Stroke Clinic for the VA Connecticut Healthcare System.
