Internal Medicine Residency Programs
Welcome to the Yale School of Medicine Internal Medicine Training Programs home page. This site has been created to provide potential residency applicants with important information about our training programs.
The Department of Internal Medicine has three residency training programs available. Links to specific information about each of these programs can be found on the right. Some of the details include specifics about the curriculum, locations of training, how to apply for a position, faculty, staff, available interview days, and what to expect during an interview day.
Students applying in Internal Medicine are welcome to apply to both our Primary Care and our Traditional Internal Medicine residency programs. Please note that separate ERAS applications are needed for each program.
We have also included lists of our current housestaff, their medical school, and email addresses. You are strongly encouraged to contact those housestaff who are from the same medical school from which you are about to graduate. On request, information will be provided to potential applicants about current housestaff who share common cultural and ethnic backgrounds.
