As Curriculum Support Librarian, Judy provides direct support to teaching and learning at the Medical School.
Judy is the Blackboard System Administrator at YSM. While Blackboard is not a library resource, Judy provides all training of faculty, staff and students and advises the Office of Education on best practices in the use of learning management systems. She also serves as the point person for Exam Master, a knowledge assessment tool.
The Library also provides critical content for the curriculum by purchasing educational software that is used both directly in the curriculum and as review resources for students. Judy coordinates with faculty to select, review and acquire CAI (computer-assisted instruction) materials to enhance teaching and learning at the Medical School.
Together with Jan Glover, Judy coordinates the Personal Librarian program at the School of Medicine.
