De Morbis Cutaneis: A Treatise on Diseases of the Skin
, from Medicine at Yale, 1701-1901.

Founded in 1940, the Historical Medical Library contains over 100,000 printed volumes ranging from 325 incunabula (books before 1500) to early 20th century books and journals. Special collections include Vesalius, Harvey Boyle, Inoculation/ Vaccination, the Clements C. Fry Collection, and the Edward C. Streeter Collection of Weights and Measures.

Working closely with local organizations, the Medical Library creates innovative programs and resources to fulfill their unique information needs. Previous collaborations have included local high schools, public libraries, the health department and local community organizations.
