University, donated by Harvey Cushing.
The digital version of Fuch's Botany of 1545 was created by
Richard Siderits, M.D. The volume
consists of a dedicatory letter, an alphabetical index (table of contents)
listing plant names, and 516 woodcuts of plants, some colored. All pages
have been scanned at very high resolution with a color scanner. Files
are large, typically about 800K. Each image represents two pages of the book.
Comments on the scanning project may be addressed to Dr. Siderits.
