Description: Metal forceps with metal and wood handles and slim blades with an upward curve to them. This may be a Denman type forceps. Thomas Denman (1733-1815) served as a ship's surgeon and later as physician accoucheur at Middlesex Hospital in London. Measures 31 x 8 x 5 cm.
