About Your LibrarianCurrent Position Responsibilities As Curriculum Support Librarian, Judy provides direct support to the Medical School curriculum in many ways. Judy is the Blackboard System Administrator at YSM. While Blackboard is not a library resource, Judy provides all training of faculty, staff and students and advises the Office of Education on best practices in the use of learning management systems.. She troubleshoots Blackboard technical issues and coordinates with ITS on all issues related to Blackboard. The Library also provides critical content for the curriculum by purchasing educational software that is used both directly in the curriculum and as review resources for students. Judy coordinates with faculty to select, review and acquire CAI (computer-assisted instruction) materials to enhance teaching and learning at the Medical School. Together with Jan Glover, Judy coordinates the Personal Librarian program at the School of Medicine. Education
