Printing in the Medical Library from your Laptop

It is possible to print to the Medical Library's printers from your laptop computer. You must be connected to the Yale network through either a wireless card or one of the wired jacks within the Library. The same Copico card used for photocopying or for printing from Library computers is used to retrieve print jobs sent from your laptop. After you pay at one of the Printer Paystations, printouts will be sent to the HP Laserjet in the Information Room (identified as the MAC/Laptop Printer) or to the high quality color printer located behind the Circulation Desk. The regular laser printer is 7 cents per page. Prints made on the color printer are $.50 per page.

The initial setup should take you less than five minutes for Mac users and a bit longer for Windows users. After the initial setup, establishing your connection to our printing system will take mere seconds. Select the instructions appropriate for your computer:
