I am fascinated by our ability to visualize small viruses and to follow them in living cells and would like to understand better how individual cells defend themselves against viral infections. Email

After graduating from the University of Pittsburgh, I joined Walther's lab to study retrovirus transmission. I am working with colorful viruses and cells in the lab, and to balance this I like everything else in black and white. My motto: "Haste makes waste!". Email
