Yale Neurology Residency

Gaylord Rehabilitation Hospital

Gaylord Hospital is a 121 bed Yale-affiliated hospital about 20 minutes from New Haven in Wallingford, CT that provides rehabilitative programs for disorders such as traumatic brain and spinal cord injury, chronic neurological diseases, and stroke.  Yale residents provide a neurological consultative service under the supervision of faculty members from the Yale Department of Neurology.  Clinical research focuses on neuromuscular disease as well as swallowing disorders, speech disorders including aphasia and dysarthria, and sleep disorders.
