Giving to Yale Pediatrics
Gifts to the Yale School of Medicine Department of Pediatrics make a significant difference in our ability
to pursue our mission to educate and inspire scholars and future leaders
who will advance the practice of pediatric science and care, remain at
the frontiers of research and deliver outstanding clinical care.
There are many ways to give in support of this mission:
-
Make an Annual Gift
Make an annual gift to Yale Pediatrics whenever you can, in any amount.
Give where your gift is needed most or to one of our high-priority programs.
Give in Honor or Memory of Someone Special
Make your gift a tribute to anyone you want to honor or remember with
your support for Yale Pediatrics. If you'd like, we'll send a letter letting
someone know you were thinking of them.
Give in Honor of a Special Occasion
Make a gift in honor of your next special occasion-a wedding, a birthday,
a Bar/Bat Mitzvah. We'll send you place cards that let your guests know
how you feel about Yale Pediatrics.
-
Giving securities to Yale Pediatrics can be a smart financial move. It's
easy to do--just transfer them from a brokerage account or send them
directly to us.
-
We invite you to join Yale Legacy Partners, a society of individuals
who have made bequests or other planned gifts to Yale University. Planned
gifts and bequests help to ensure the long-term success of many Yale Pediatric
programs as well as develop innovative initiatives--and they can work financial
wonders for you and your loved ones.
-
Major gifts launch needed capital projects, groundbreaking research programs,
new patient care centers and community outreach projects. We work closely
with you to make sure your philanthropic goals are met. How to contact a member of our development team.
Ways of Giving to Yale Pediatrics
Traditionally, a majority of the gifts made to Yale come in the form
of cash, via check or credit card. A gift of cash entitles you to the
most generous federal income tax deduction available for charitable contributions.
You may deduct up to 50 percent of your adjusted gross income for gifts
of cash and may carry any amount over that figure forward for up to five
additional years.
Checks should be made payable to "Yale University" and mailed to:
