Modification to YNHPH Infection Control Policies

While the above guidelines address most infection control situations likely to be encountered, modification of existing infection control policies may be required to meet specific patient care needs. To modify existing infection control policies for a specific patient, Hospital Epidemiology shall be consulted to determine the appropriateness of such modifications balancing the needs of the individual patient with any potential risk to the other patients on the unit.
